Palm OS Emulator 3.0aX の起動 時エラーについて

初めまして、西田と言います。
CWR6で開発をしています。

Palm Computing サイトからダウンロードした「Palm OS Emulator 3.0a6」または
「Palm OS Emulator 3.0a7」の「Emulator.exe」起動時エラーで教えて頂きたいこと
があります。
「Emulator.exe」を起動直後、以下のメッセージが表示されて先へ進みません。

Palm OS Emulator

"The current application"[unknown version] has just performed an
illigal operation. It performed a "bus error". If this is the latest version
of "the current application",please report this to the application author.

「Debug」か「Reset」かしかなく延々と終了もできません。
環境は、
PCは、Windows98SEです。以前は「×不正な処理〜」が多いながらも起動していた
のですが、期間をおいてやってみるとこのような始末です。
Palmサイト Seeding AreaのROMを使おうと思うのですが...

以前どこかで、このエラーの対処方法を読んだ記憶があるのですが、失念して
しまいました。どなたかご教授いただけませんか？
